Crown Collaborative

Districts across the country are waking up to the fact that failure to address the social and emotional needs of our students leads to an increase in discipline referrals, truancy, as well as a decrease in academic performance and graduation rates. Post pandemic these issues have been exacerbated. To address this need AWS and RSDC have partnered to deliver Crown Collaborative, a youth development program that infuses SEL, leadership skills, and culturally relevant instruction to cultivate the whole child. Our holistic approach promotes authenticity, character, leadership, and collaboration. In this project based experience, youth are taught skills that help them to effectively plan, utilize their resources, and ultimately thrive.
