Rising Sun Development Center (RSDC) is proud to celebrate a powerful step forward in our ongoing commitment to advancing health equity and strengthening community-based care. Through our efforts to deliver surplus medical supplies to clinics in the Volta Region of Ghana, we were able to support frontline healthcare providers with critical resources that will help improve patient care and expand access to essential treatment. This initiative reflects our belief that every community deserves the tools and support necessary to thrive—especially those serving populations with the greatest need.

We extend our deepest gratitude to MedShare, whose generosity made this mission possible. MedShare donated over 100 pounds of unused, surplus medical supplies, ensuring that high-quality materials were redirected from waste into life-saving impact. RSDC was responsible for the logistics of transporting and distributing these supplies, coordinating delivery to clinics with the highest levels of need throughout the Volta Region. From securing shipment pathways to ensuring safe and accountable distribution on the ground, our team worked diligently to make certain that every donated item reached the healthcare professionals and patients who could benefit most.
